Deities of the Exalted Mind Mandala

THE BODHISATTVAS

The six couples of Bodhisattvas are represented twice on the ledge at the ground level of the Mind Mandala; once with the male as main deity (looking inward), once with the female as main deity (looking inward). They are depicted the same as the Tathagatas. The Bodhisattvas confer the 'Conduct Initiation' (see The Initiation).
Move your mouse slowly over below Mind Mandala to see the names of the deities pop up.
The clear area is the inner ledge with Bodhisattvas.

They are located in the entrance Gates of the Mind Mandala.

In the full Body, Speech and Mind Mandala no less than 60 Protectors are placed. The ones below stand in the manner of Kalachakra and Vishvamata (see the detail on the right of Vighnantaka embraced by Stambhini). They are located in the entrance Gates of the Mind Mandala

The Protectors or Wrathful deities confer the 'Name Giving' initiation (see also The Initiation).

OFFERING GODDESSES

On the White Ledge around the Mind Mandala walls are 8 Offering Goddesses: Perfume Lady, Garland Lady, Incense Lady, Butterlamp Lady, Divine Food Lady, Fruit Lady, Beauty Lady and Smile Lady.

Four more Offering Goddesses are found above and below the mandala: Music and Dance Lady above, and Song and Desire Lady below.
